I started a second pair of Jaywalkers in August. I made it past the heel of sock #1 and got really bored. The yarn was pissing me off too, for reasons I can’t really put in to words. The partial sock was set aside and ignored.

Since I feel like working on some socks, I’ve started a pair of Monkey socks. The yarn is Colinette Jitterbug, purchased at All About Yarn, in a colorway called Raphael. Raphael is kinda crazy: brown, tan, purple, blueberry, and a few little drips of coral. I’m not too crazy about the striping, but I also don’t care enough to do anything about it. The yarn is wicked soft.

I might could have stolen the US 1 needles from the dumb Jaywalker, but I CO at work, where I only had US 2 needles and nothing else to knit. We’ll have to see how things go with the gauge.
