A little late, but I hope yours was nice. Matt was sick after Thanksgiving last year. This year he was sick for the whole thing. A good old traditional cold. It was really very sad…after filling himself up at the big meal, Matt asked “did the food taste good?”
Despite Matt’s illness, dinner was good. I cooked, and a few friends and family members joined us. We were able to call the folks who weren’t there and had some nice conversations. Mostly about the bizarrely warm weather. I’d planned to use the deck as a giant outdoor fridge, but I ended up having to clean out the fridge to make room for the turkey and all of the made-ahead dishes.
Matt’s finally feeling better, which is good, especially since we’re going on vacation next week. I’ll tell you about our plans, and my craft preparations, before we hit the road on Saturday.Â
