Lauren Gets Crafty

except when she doesn’t

And may I present….

My Clapotis.

It’s very cool. I think I’m going to wash and lightly block it, but not until I’ve had a few days to wear it. The colorway ended up a little bit Maxfield Parrish, but I’m okay with that. I was so afraid of running out of yarn, that I began decreasing before I really had to. I have enough left to have done at least two more repeats of the main section. Oh well. It’s long enough, and I have enough left to make a little something.

Très élégant, non?

Did you make yours to the size of the pattern? It looks like it might be a little smaller, which is what I would prefer to do if I ever decide to make one. Thanks!

It’s the same gauge as the pattern, but has two less increase sections (sec.2) and three less length sections (sec.3).

I had 500 yards of yarn, and I think I have 40-50 yards left… Haven’t measured the remains yet.
